John McDonald Current Services John Thomas McDonald, Sr. of Sulphur, OK passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at the Artesian Home in Sulphur at the age of 86 years, 4 months and 14 days. John was born in Achille, OK on June 07, 1932 to the late Ben McDonald and Carrie (Noblet) McDonald. John was a carpenter by trade. John lived in the Mead, OK area before moving to the nursing home in Ardmore and most recently to the Artesian Home in Sulphur where he lived the remainder of his life. John is survived by: Son: John McDonald, Jr. of Lone Grove, OK Daughter: Debbie Hains of Elk City, OK John also leaves behind many other family members and friends. At John's request, the family selected cremation. John's cremains will be taken to California to be laid to rest next to his family. No local services are planned at this time.
