On September 9, 2003, she married Bill Warden and they made their home in Ravia, Oklahoma. They attended church at Tishomingo First Baptist Church for a number of years. Joyce remained in Ravia after Bill's passing in 2019. In 2021, with her health declining, she moved to Ardmore to be closer to family members.
