Roy Johnson Current Services Roy Lamar Johnson passed from this life on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 at the Alliance Health Center in Madill at the age of 67 years, 11 months, and 30 days. Roy was born in West Orange, California to the late Marvin Johnson and Evelyn (Banfield) Johnson. Roy was raised in Hollister, CA where he attended and graduated high school. After graduation, Roy answered the call to serve his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Army where he served until his honorable discharge. Roy moved to Madill, OK 7 years ago where he lived the remainder of his life. In his younger days, Roy enjoyed going fishing. As he got older he enjoyed staying home and watching T.V. and spending time with his dog, Feisty. Roy is survived by: Sons: Roy Johnson Jr. David Green Daughter: Gillie Diedrich Brother: Bob Cochran Sister: Jerri Stanfield Vickie Turpitt Roy is also survived by 6 grandchildren and his beloved dog, Feisty Roy was preceded in death by both of his parents and 1 sister. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, April 22 at 11 AM at the M.A.D. Ministries in Tishomingo with Reverend Jim Branch officiating. Interment will follow in the Mannsville Cemetery in Mannsville with military honors provided by the Patriot Guard Riders and The Fort Sill Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
