Teddy Lynn Boston

Teddy Lynn Boston of Tishomingo passed away on Sunday May 25, 2014 at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore at the age of 58 years. Teddy was born on August 11, 1955 in Ardmore, Ok. to Donald Lee Boston and Mary Ned Boston. Teddy married Nancy Alexander Boston on November 12, 1976 in Ada, Ok. Teddy went to work for the Tishomingo Police Department in 1980 where he retired. He also worked for Murray State College as Campus Police. Teddy was a proud Chickasaw and because of that he liked to do Native American bead work. He also liked to ride bicycles and spend time with his family. Teddy was a loving father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. He was a member of the First Indian Baptist Church in Tishomingo. Teddy is survived by his wife, Nancy Boston of the home, one son, Christopher Boston of Washington DC, three daughters, Sharron Boston, Kimberly Boston, and Durishia Boston all of Tishoomingo, Ok., two brothers, Robby Boston of Latta, Ok., and Chiefy Greenwood of Tishomingo, Ok. and three sisters, Barbara Underwood of Stratford, Ok., Tina Underwood of Sulphur, Ok., and Mariah Greenwood of Ada, Ok. He also leaves behind one wonderful grandchild, Osvna Boston. Teddy was preceded in death by both of his parents, one daughter, Lynn Ann Boston, one brother, Roger Boston and one sister Donna Joe. A wake service will be held on Thursday May 29, 2014 from 6:30pm ~ 9:00pm at the First Indian Baptist Church in Tishomingo. Funeral Services will be held on Friday May 30, 2014 at 10:00am at the Fletcher Auditorium at Murray State College in Tishomingo. Interment will follow at the Enville Cemetery in Love County. Pallbearers for the service will be Ben Underwood, Gabe Alexander, William McNealy, Michael Joe, Chestine Underwood, Kendall Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers will be JD Underwood, Heath Chapel, Steve Bowman, Jayston Underwood.
