Angie Dawn Oxley, a beacon of warmth and kindness, departed this world on January 29, 2026, in Ravia, Oklahoma. Born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Angie was a loving mother, grandmother, and cherished friend whose radiant smile and generous spirit touched all who had the joy of knowing her.
After graduating from Tishomingo High School and Cameron University, Angie dedicated her professional life to serving as the city clerk at Ravia, where her commitment to her community was unwavering. Her life was characterized by her immense love for her family and her deep-seated faith in God. Angie embodied the essence of compassion, helping the elderly during their times of need, reflecting her big heart and the profound love she had for those around her.
Angie's memory is filled with vibrant moments - afternoons spent outdoors, her hands skillfully crafting delicious baked goods, and tranquil days by the pond collecting pecans. Her passion for music was a melodic backdrop to the lives she impacted, as she loved to sing, adding a harmony that resonated with warmth and joy. She embraced life with an adventurous spirit, reveling in the beauty of nature, which left indelible memories for her loved ones.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Crystal Wilson and her husband Ray from Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Brittney Valero of Goldsby, Oklahoma. Angela’s nurturing spirit also extended to her mother, Sue Hurley, and her husband Tom, who reside in Ravia, Oklahoma. Her brother, John Andrews, and his wife Shelly, of Milburn, Oklahoma, and sister, Drenda Sue Harris, along with her husband John, of Healdton, Oklahoma, carry her legacy forward. The laughter of her grandchildren - Kailey Valen, Jr. Valero, Pheniox Oxley, Savannah Clark, Jaiden Clark, and Elijah Wilson - intertwines with the joy that Angela imparted. Additionally, her great-grandchildren, Axel Nease, Serenity Nease, and Caspian Nease, bring another generation of light into her enduring memory. She shared unique ties with her cousin Wanda Eubank, with whom she spent cherished years side by side.
Angie was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Andrews, whose presence she will forever hold dear in her heart.
Visitation for Angie will be held on February 2, 2026, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Hartwell Funeral Home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. A Funeral Service to honor her life and legacy will take place the following day, February 3, 2026, at 10 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 9700 U.S. 377 in Tishomingo.
The love and memories that Angie Dawn Oxley leaves behind serve as a testament to a life beautifully lived, filled with laughter, compassion, and unending love. She will be dearly missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
