Anh Van Nguyen

Anh Van Nguyen of Ardmore passed away on Sunday, October 01, 2017 at the Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, OK at the age of 64 years. Anh moved to Southern Oklahoma in the year of 1980 as a Vietnam refugee where he lived the remainder of his life. Mr. Nguyen was born on October 04, 1952 in Rach Gia, Kien Giang Vietnam to Van Duong Nguyen and Thi Chi Nguyen. He attended and graduated high school in Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen later went on to marry the love of his life, Cam Thi Nguyen. The two of them were married on March 28, 1974 in Vietnam. Anh was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ardmore. Some of Mr. Nguyens favorite hobbies included fishing, spending time with family, and loved watching his grandchildren. Anh leaves behind to cherish his memory: Wife: Cam Thi Nguyen of Ardmore Two Sons: Tam Chi Nguyen of Vietnam Tinh Chi Nguyen of Vietnam Two Daughters: Thanh Thi Nguyen & John Nguyen of Oklahoma City Thuy Thi McCarthick & Casey of Tishomingo Three Brothers: Loi, My Anh, and My Em Three Sisters: Anh, My Duong, and Ut Eleven Grandchildren: Christyn Allen; Kaine Nguyen; Tames Nguyen; Tyicee Nguyen; Hayden Nguyen; Brandon Nguyen; Trenton Nguyen; Kayla Nguyen; Dominic Nguyen and Hunter McCarthick. Anh was preceded in death by: Brother: Tai Nguyen Grandchild: Kileen Nguyen Funeral services will be held on Thursday October 05 at 2pm at the First Baptist Church of Ardmore with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. The service will conclude at the church. In lieu of flowers the family ask that Donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Ardmore.
