Brenda Marlene Gray

Brenda Marlene Gray, a lifelong resident of Wylie, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on January 17, 2025.

Brenda shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Michael Gray. Together, they raised two children, Robin and Dean, and were blessed with two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Brenda was a beautician who co-owned a salon with her sister Glenda and was lucky enough to work side by side with her for many years. Later in life, she and Mike ran LeRoys Bait shop, a family business originally started by her parents. She enjoyed making connections with all her customers and could always let you know where the fish were biting.

Brenda had a deep love and passion for animals of all kinds and loved being able to rehabilitate and nurse back to health any that may be in need.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Marlene Hoffard, son Dean Gray, brother Doyle Hoffard and sister Glenda Beach. She is survived by husband Mike Gray, daughter Robin Gray, granddaughters Haley and Morgan, two great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
