Brenda Michelle Moore, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away too soon on December 23, 2025, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Born on October 20, 1958, Brenda lived a life brimming with passion and dedication, leaving a legacy that will endure in the hearts of those who knew her.
Brenda was not just a hard worker; she embodied the meaning of diligence and commitment. With an education rooted in welding, she carved out a career as a skilled welder for Sundowner trailers. Her pride in her work resonated deeply, particularly her time in the Navy—a chapter she often reflected upon with great pride. Brenda's talents were not limited to her professional pursuits; her love for ecology, gardening, and artistry revealed the gentle beauty of her spirit. Her rose bushes became a testament to her nurturing nature, a reflection of her love for the world around her.
Outside of her remarkable career, Brenda held a special place in her heart for animals. She cherished her furry companions, forming bonds that brought joy and comfort to her daily life. Her love for music and attending concerts filled her days with rhythm, laughter, and the melodies that nourished her soul. Gardening wasn't merely a hobby for Brenda; it was a passion that brought her peace and fulfillment, allowing her to create spaces of tranquility and beauty.
Brenda's family cherished her deeply. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Michaela Bevel, and her husband, Richard, who reside in Texas. Her brother, John Moore, from Pennsylvania, along with her uncle, Tommy R Jonson, of Dickson, and brother-in-law, Archie Rushin, of Tishomingo, carry her memory forward. Long-time friend Endora Hersom shares in the sorrow of her loss and the warmth of their shared memories.
Though Brenda is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Julie Cecil and Victoria Rushin, her spirit lives on through the love she cultivated throughout her life. She was a remarkable woman who touched many lives with her kindness, intelligence, and passion for helping those around her. As we bid farewell to Brenda Michelle Moore, let us carry her legacy in our hearts, remembering the joy she brought into our lives and the lessons she imparted during her time with us. Her presence will be missed but never forgotten, and her love will continue to bloom in our souls.
