Cayden Perkinson Current Services Cayden James Perkinson, age 14, passed away on July 23, 2024, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Born on August 24, 2009, in Durant, Oklahoma, Cayden was a vibrant and beloved member of his community, attending Tishomingo High School. Cayden cherished the outdoors, often found fishing, hunting, or camping. He had a playful spirit, always ready play a joke on someone. His love for hands-on activities shone through as he enjoyed assisting his father, Jody, with various projects, from yard work to remodeling their home or building things out of old lumber. Cayden also found joy in video games, which he played with his siblings and friends, and he held a special fondness for the 'Transformers' series, a childhood favorite. He leaves behind a loving family: his mother, April Tamplen; his father, Jody Tamplen of Tishomingo; sisters BreAnna Tamplen of Durant, Ashlee Wheeler and wife Shelby of Lone Grove, brother Joshua Tamplen and wife Hollee, Sister Eleanor Weaver and husband Steven of Durant, Sister Kirsten Tamplen of Tishomingo, Brother Eric Perkinson of Tishomingo, Brother Gage Tamplen Of Tishomingo; and his cherished fur brother, Whiskey, of Tishomingo along with numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. He was preceded in death by his grandfather James Throneberry, great-grandparents Carl and Pasty Throneberry and Clarence and Ruth Earths, A service to celebrate Caydens life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, on Monday at 10:00 A.M.
