Don Batt

Graveside services for Don Batt will be held on Saturday April 12, 2014 at 10am in the Tishomingo Cemetery in Tishomingo with Rev. Jon Smith officiating. Don was born on March 11, 1933 to Isaac Washington Batt and Elaine Cox Batt. He passed away on Wednesday April 09, 2014 at the Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 81 years. Mr. Batt graduated from Dale High School in 1951 and then join the the United States Army National Guard and received a honorable discharge in August of 1960. Don also work for the Oklahoma Natural Gas Company for 32 years. He also retired from the Tishomingo Volunteer Fire Department. Don married Evelyn Sue Batt in Shawnee, Ok in 1957 and she survives of the home. He is also survived by his son John Batt of Denton, TX, 2 daughters Jody Heller of Tishomingo, OK, Dana Krebs of Memphis, TN and 1 Brother Roy Batt of Shawnee, OK. Don also leaves behind 6 wonderful grandchildren, Mallory Krebs, Riggin Heller, Joe Krebs, Alejandero Batt, Trevor Elwood, and Sofia Batt. Don was preceded in death by both his parents and his twin brother Johnny Batt and his brother Ray Batt. Honorary pallbearers for the service will be Joe Krebs, Trevor, Elwood, Riggin Heller and Alejanbero Batt.
