Gillie Joann Diedrich

Gillie JoAnn Diedrich, aged 41, passed away on October 4, 2024, in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where she was also born on July 12, 1983. She leaves behind her significant other, Brian Shipley, and three sons, Travis J Frates, Ethan Leroy Frates, and Preston David Frates, all of Ardmore, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her mother, Reba Faye Johnson, her uncle Tommy Matthews, her aunt JoAnn Wellman, and numerous cousins and extended family members. Gillie was preceded in death by her father, Roy Lamer Johnson Sr., her brother, Roy Lamer Johnson Jr., and her grandparents, Roy and Evelyn Johnson, and Thomas and Ida Faye Mathews.

Gillie cherished her time listening to music, attending races at the Ardmore track, and spending relaxing days at the lake with family and friends. Her vibrant spirit and love for life were evident in every gathering and adventure.

Visitation for Gillie will be held on Wednesday from 6pm to 8pm at Hartwell Funeral Home in Tishomingo, OK. Her funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Minnie Hartwell Memorial Chapel, also at Hartwell Funeral Home, with Reverend Jordan Parnacher officiating. Pallbearers include her son Travis, Kyle, Ethan, and Jeremy Wellman, Brian and Aaron Nease, Justin, Thomas and Michael Matthews.
