Hannford Dale Dollar

Hannford Dale Dollar of Tishomingo passed away on Thursday November 30, 2017 at the Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo at the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 27 days.

Hannford was born on December 03, 1948 in Tishomingo to the late Hearl Beauford Dollar and Altha (Bone) Dollar.

Hannford attended Ardmore High School. In 1968 Hannford joined to the United States Air Force where he served as an EMT until his honorable discharge on April 11, 1972. Hannford then joined the United States Navy on April 12, 1972 where he served as a firefighter until his honoarble discharge on April 08, 1976. Hannford served 2 tours in Vietnam and was a well decorated veteran.

Hannford lived in Tishomingo all of his life and was of the Baptist faith. He loved to hunt & fish and was a very proud veteran.

Funeral services to honor his life will be held on Tuesday December 05 at 10am in The Minnie Hartwell Memorial Chapel at Tishomingo Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Russell officiating. Interment with military honors provided by the Chickasaw Nation Honor Guard will follow in the Norton Cemetery in Mannsville.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
