Harold Lee Pierce Sr., 87, passed away on August 6, 2025, in Davis, Oklahoma. Born on May 20, 1938, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Harold lived a life rooted in service, craftsmanship, and deep family ties.
Harold dedicated his professional life to law enforcement, serving as a deputy with steadfast commitment. His work reflected a strong sense of duty and responsibility to his community—values that defined much of his life.
Beyond his career, Harold was a man of many interests and talents. He was an avid hunter who found peace and purpose in the outdoors. A skilled leatherworker and passionate knife collector, he took pride in his craftsmanship and the care he put into each piece he created or preserved. These hobbies were not just pastimes but expressions of his patience, precision, and appreciation for tradition.
Harold was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah Lynn; his parents, Elva Cole and Earl Pierce; and his brothers Otis and Marvin Pierce. Their memories remained close to him throughout his life.
He is survived by his son, Harold Lee Pierce Jr.; daughter Lisa Higgenbotham and her husband Tony; brothers Donald Pierce and Ronald Pierce; grandchildren Georgia Reese and Emma and Marshall Putman; and great-grandchildren Ophilia and Moony Reese. Each of them carries forward a part of Harold’s legacy.
