Russell Ivan Richeson

Russell “Ivan” Richeson passed away November 29, 2025, at the age of 63. Ivan was born March 29, 1962, in Concord, CA, to Jerry and Cena Richeson. He grew up in Cottonwood, CA. He met his wife, Valerie Richeson, in December 1991. They were married on February 14, 1993. He was a successful business owner, cattleman, and horseman. In 1995, he began his work in the ministry, starting with leading worship and getting involved with the youth.

Ivan was a talented guitarist and singer-songwriter. He devoted most of his time to serving the church and bringing the lost to the Lord.

Ivan and Valerie moved to Oklahoma in 2005. Ivan wore many hats and was involved in politics. He co-founded a church called M.A.D. Ministries. He was a true servant of God, deeply passionate about his beliefs and values. He found great joy in helping others and teaching them about Jesus. Through his ministry and God working through him, he was able to reach countless lives.

We are very thankful for his dedication and willingness to serve to the Lord. He was a firm foundation to his family and to his church.

He leaves behind a loving family; wife, Valerie Richeson, daughter, Jaime Johnson and her husband Graham, son, Ty Richeson and his wife, Melinda. And 9 grandchildren. Father, Jerry Richeson, Brother, Kevin Richeson, and his wife, Darci. He was a loving Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Grandfather.
