Kasey Garrett Current Services Kasey Danielle Garrett passed from this life at her home in Mannsville on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the age of 39. She was born December 26, 1981 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Marion 'Red' Garrett and the late Jimmie (Watson) Garrett. Kasey lived in this area until she was 6 years old and then moved to Odessa, Tx with her mother and stepfather. She attended school at Permian Basin Christian School where she later graduated. Kasey moved back to Mannsville when she was in her early twenties where she remained until her death. She was employed as an equipment operator at Reliable Management Services (RMS) in Ardmore. Kasey was an extremely outgoing person. She never met a stranger and made friends quickly. Kasey loved riding horses and just being around them in general. She was definitely an 'outdoorsy' kind of girl. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and hanging out with her many friends. She got along with everyone and always loved a good party. Most of all, Kasey loved and enjoyed time with her 13 year old son, Colton. He was her everything. Kasey was preceded in death by her mother, Jimmie (Watson) Gilham. She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, son, Colton Johnson of the home; Father, Red Garrett and wife, Vickie of Mannsville; Stepfather, Jack Gilham of North Richland Hills, Tx; Sister, Ashley Gilham of Mannsville and Joyce Schaub of Midland, Tx. She also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Rollins Cemetery in Simpson, south of Mannsville.
