Kathy Lou Ivy

Kathy Lou Holt Sullivan Ivy, age 63, passed away on April 11, 2025, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Born on June 23, 1961, in Columbia, North Carolina, Kathy brought warmth, laughter and spirit to those around her throughout her life.


Kathy was the beloved wife of Barbara Ivy. She was a devoted mother to her children: Michael Sullivan and his wife Jessica, JJ Sullivan, Betty Sullivan, Heather Foster and her wife Bugger Foster, Alicia and husband Neil Hypes, and Garret Adams. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Sierra Sullivan, Tierra Sullivan, Ray, Nevaeh & Sweet Man Littlefield, Dylan, Kian, Raegan & Rylan Martin & Harley Foster, Michael, McKayla, Morgan, Maddison and Chris. Kathy also had one sister, Jackie Holt, whom she loved very much.


Kathy had an extended family of friends and she will be dearly missed by all of those who knew her.


She was preceded in death by both of her parents, William and Betty Holt, as well as her brother Roy Holt and nephew, Robert Glen


Kathy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She had a passion for puzzles that reflected her thoughtful nature and love for quiet moments of reflection. She loved to color, especially with her grandkids and she was a loyal fan of Dallas Cowboys football. She cheered with heart through every season.


A memorial gathering to honor Kathy’s life will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hartwell Funeral Home located at 320 W Main Street in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.


May Kathy’s memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
