Kenneth Haden Robinson

Kenneth Haden Robinson of Tishomingo passed away on Thursday May 29, 2014 at the Sulphur Veterans Center at the age of 89 years. Kenneth was born on September 20, 1924 in Mannsville, Ok. to the late Samuel Register Robinson and Lennie Wolfe Robinson. Kenneth worked for the State of Oklahoma as truck driver for several years. He also served his country in the United States Army as a corporal in World War II as a cook in the Phillipines. Kenneth loved to play dominoes, spend time with his family and he loved his cattle. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for several years. Kenneth married Ora Mae Combes on May 04, 1952 in Tishomingo. She preceded him in death on February 23, 2000. Kenneth was also preceded in death by both of his parents, and four brothers, Opal Robinson, Arvel Robinson, Woodrow 'Chuck' Robinson, and Doyle Robinson. He is survived by one daughter, Kenna Kay Blackburn of Tishomingo, Ok., and four sisters, Oleta Dry, Juanita Ellis, Barzella Nelson and Margarete Sliger, one brother SR Robinson of Tishomingo. Kenneth also leaves behind two wonderful grandchildren, Logan Lane Blackburn and Leah Juhree Blackburn.
