Kenneth Wayne Skaggs

Kenneth Wayne Skaggs, 85, of Ravia, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on April 29, 2025, in Ravia.

Born on February 6, 1940, in Ada, Oklahoma, Kenneth spent his life rooted in the values and traditions of his home state. He proudly served in the National Guard and later dedicated many years of hard work to Holcim Ada Cement Plant before retiring.

In 1999, Kenneth married Shirley Skaggs in Ada, beginning a partnership that would span over two decades. Together they made their home in Ravia, where they shared a life filled with love and companionship.

Kenneth was a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Skaggs of Ravia; his daughter, Tracy Leader of Ravia; grandchildren Dylan Gray of Ada, Brian Williams of Ada, and Breeann Hinson of Ada; and a great-grandchild Arlis Gray of Ada.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Kenneth found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He especially enjoyed fishing and camping—pastimes that brought him peace and connection with nature.

Services will be held at a later date.
