Mahlon Mccollom

Mahlon was born on May 16, 1932 to Ernest and Lucy Ann Durrett McCollom in Ravia, Ok. He passed from this life on Friday July 25, 2014 in Eufaula, Ok. He married Patricia Ann Burris June 08, 1954 in Knox City, Tx. He served 4 years in the United States Navy and 14 years in the National Guard, serving in the Korean War. He was also a 32nd degree mason. He served on the Johnston county Sheriffs Department as Under Sheriff and later served as policeman with the Tishomingo Police Department. He was preceded in death by his parents Perry McCollom of California, Wendyl Box of Ravia, Ok., sisters Annie Lee Duke of Ardmore, Ok., Leona Cook of California and a grandchild Riley McCollom. He is survived by his wife Patricia of the home, sons Calvin McCollom of Tishomingo, Randy McCollom and wifeLisa of Ravia, grandchildren Wenoa Pittman and husband Brent of Ardmore, Tori Cellum and husband Justin of Tishomingo and Tyler McCollom of Raviaand one great-grandchild Carter McCollom, a brother Orville Box and wife Helen of Ravia and a number of nieces and nephews.
