Martha Wallace Current Services Martha Lee Wallace, age 93, passed away on August 4, 2024 at home, in Coleman, Oklahoma. Born on December 31, 1931, in Lubbock, Texas, Martha dedicated much of her life to caring for others as a nursing aide, a career that mirrored her nurturing personality. Known affectionately as Momma or Granny, Martha was a beloved figure in her community and cherished by many. Her love for the outdoors and flowers were eclipsed only by the joy she took in her dog, Missy, who was her constant companion and pride. Martha was a devout member of New Beginnings Church in Wapanucka, Oklahoma, where she participated actively in church activities. Her faith and community were central to her life, providing her with much comfort and fulfillment. She is survived by her husband, Louis Wallace; sons Jackie Shaver, Donnie Shaver, Jerry Shaver, Johnny Shaver; stepchildren Wayne Wallace and LuAnn Jackson; honorary son Brad Rose; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Also she was survived by her furbaby Missy. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, and her siblings. Her life will be celebrated with a funeral service on Thursday at 10 am at New Beginnings Church in Wapanucka, OK, where visitation will take place at 9 am before the service. Martha will be laid to rest at the Ego-Coleman Cemetery in Coleman, OK. following the service.
