Mary Guadalupe Morales

Mary Morales Current Services Mary Guadalupe Morales (Hays), age 77, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018. She passed away at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore surrounded by family and loved ones. Born Mar. 2, 1941 in Cuero, Texas, Mary and her late husband, Aurelio Morales along with their five children moved to Ardmore in 1983, where she was a stay-at-home mom. After the passing of Aurelio in 1987, Mary worked as a private caregiver for several people in the Ardmore area. She enjoyed cooking and was known for making and selling her tamales as 'The Tamale Lady.' She met her second husband, Thompson G. Hays. They were married for 11 years until he passed away on Dec. 17, 2004. She loved playing bingo and spending time with her grandbabies. She is survived by her children, Theresa Morales, Tina Morales, Aurelio Jr. (Randy) Morales and Angie, Sylvia Morales Love, Irma LindaMoralesand six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She will be greatly missed. Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Tishomingo Funeral Home.
