Mary Allice Walker

Mary Allice Walker of Tishomingo was born on January 02, 1934 in Henrietta, TX to the late John Pigg and Icy Mary Swindell Pigg. She passed from this life on Thursday December 24, 2015 in the Four Seasons Nursing Center in Durant at the age of 81 years, 11 months, and 22 days. Mary attended and graduated from Spanish Fort High School in Spanish Fort, TX. She then went onto marry Hubert Granville Walker on August 24, 1955 in Gainesville, TX. Mary moved to the Johnston County area from Montague County, TX several years ago and has a longtime resident of Johnston County and surrounding area ever since. Her family says that some of her favorite things to do were spend the holidays cooking for and with her family, spending time her grandkids. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to spend time with her family especially her sisters and playing board games with them. Mary was truly the back bone of the family and will truly be missed by all who knew her. Those left to cherish her memories are her two sons; John Walker of Tishomingo; Tracy Walker and Wife Shannon of Milburn. One Daughter; Tammy Leven and Husband Wayne of Newkirk, OK. She also leaves behind 14 wonderful Grandchildren and 35 precious Great-Grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her mother and father; one son Granville Walker; two daughters; Donna Evans; and Angie Eddie. Two brothers; Troy Pigg; J.C. Pigg JR., Six Sisters; Nelta Walker; Vina Meya; Jewell ONeal; Jodie Poyner; Georgia Cunningham; Ollie Thompson; one Grandson David Shores; and Great-Grandson; Ayah Mazin Abujeish.
