Nova Laurene Blevins

Bobby Blevins held the hand of his wife of 32 years Nova Laurene Blevins on the evening of May 01, 2016 as she stepped into Heaven to celebrate the beginning of her new life at the age of 75 years, 1 month, 26 days. Nova was a brave warrior. She fought Kidney Cancer for over 10 years. Nova made her home for the last 20 years in the Murray County area. She moved there from Harlingen, TX. Some of the things that Nova enjoyed doing were Arrowhead hunting, making stain glass when she was able to do so, genealogy, reading, and she loved spending time with her grandkids & her great-grandkids. Her life on here on earth was blessed by the love of her family & they will miss her dearly. Nova married Bobby Gene Blevins on July 05, 1983 in Gainesville, TX, He survives her of the home She is also survived by: Sons: David Denny Jr Levi Blevins Daughters: Darla Carol Dixie Windrum Grandchildren: Stephanie (Carol) Kern; Heather Blaylock (Windrum); Jason Windrum; Ashley Carol; Brian Windrum; Britney Windrum. Great-Grandchildren: Emma Kern; Ryan Kern; Makayla Denny; Kaylei Denny; Emma Denny; Riley Blaylock, Ethan Blaylock; Joshua Blaylock. There was a special place in her heart for Courtney Streun & her daughter Adilyn Munoz. Her love of nature will be remembered as her family will celebrate her life under towering pecan trees on the land that she & Bob shared. We would like to give a special thanks to Cross Timbers Hospice for their care & kindness. Private family services will be held at a later date.
