Perry Joe Dorer

Services for Perry Jo Dorer, 56, of Tishomingo will be held Thursday October 31, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Mannsville First Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Hartwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Lone Cedar Cemetery in Mannsville. Perry was born on July 04, 1957 in Ardmore, Ok. to the late Perry Alfred and Jodie Bryant Dorer. He passed from this life on Monday October 28, 2013 at the Medical Center of Plano at the age of 56 years. Perry lived in Johnston County all of his life. Perry was a ranch hand, welder, and a truck driver. Some of his hobbies were team roping, he loved his horses, he is also loved spending time with his grandchildren. Perry was a member of the Madill Round up Club and he was also a member of the Mannsville First Baptist Church. Perry graduated the 8th grade at Mannsville Elementary School and then from Dickson High School in 1975. He is survived by his wife Christine of the home, 2 sons, Chad Moore, and Joe Glen, 2 Step-sons Justin Ray, and John Ray, 1 Daughter Hailie Jo Lynn Hawkins and husband Landon, 2 brothers, Terry Lee of Tishomingo and Jefferey Layne of Mannsville, 1 sister Bobbie Sue Willis and husband James, 4 grandchildren, Remmington Hawkins, Brautley Ray, Kenzie Glen, and Kreeddon Glenn. Perry is also survived by severel neices and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Peters, Todd Cook, Casey Cook, Paul Mclendon, Pepper Melton, and Haden Bell. Serving as Honarary Pallbearers will be Will Cook, Lance Millgan, Justin Ray, John Ray, Brandon Sliger, Ethan Sliger, Dale Renshaw, Kody Renshaw, and Billy Ray Dorer.
