Rachel Priddy

Rachel Priddy of Madill stepped into eternity with Jesus on Friday March 31, 2017 at her daughter's residence in Pauls Valley, OK at the age of 81 years & 27 days. Rachel was born to the late Vernon Jones & Juanita 'King' Jones in Amarillo, TX on March 04, 1936. Rachel attended school in Mannsville, OK. After high school Rachel met & married Kennith Priddy in Ardmore, OK in August of 1953, a union that would last 63 wonderful years & from that union came a wonderful & caring family. Some of the many hobbies that Rachel enjoyed were, playing horseshoes, & dominoes. She enjoyed being out in her yard and making it look beautiful. Rachel enjoyed singing and played a very important role in the Singing Priddy Family. She enjoyed big family gatherings, being around her grandchildren & family. Rachel enjoyed sitting outside each morning drinking coffee with her best friend, her husband Kennith. Rachel is survived by: Husband: Kennith Priddy of the home. Sons: Rick Priddy & wife Radonna of Mannsville, OK Kirk Priddy & wife Deanna of Dallas, TX Daughters: Retha Henry & husband Will of Pauls Valley, OK Karen Goodin & husband Robert of Tishomingo, OK Sisters: Jeanie Jones of Wyoming Judy Landreth of Ardmore, OK Rachel also leaves behind to cherish her memory, 14 grandchildren & 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of many other family & friends. Rachel was preceded in death: Brothers: Fred Jones James Jones Sisters: Rose Marie Woods Pat The family will greet family & friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 pm - 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11 am at the First Assembly of God in Mannsville with Bro. Brandon Henry officiating assisted by Bro. Roger Hartwell. Interment will follow in the Lone Cedar Cemetery north of Mannsville. Casket escorts for the service will be Ray Priddy, Russell Priddy, Isaac Goodin, Matt Henry, Kenny Henry, & Ryan Priddy. Serving as honorary casket escorts will be Tyler Priddy, Devon McCormick, & Robert Goodin. Services are being held under the care & direction of the Family at Tishomingo Funeral Home.
