Rickey Shelton Current Services Rickey 'Rick' Lee Shelton, 71, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, passed away on May 2, 2024. Born on May 25, 1952, in Walters, OK, Rick was a beloved father, brother, and grandfather. Rick worked in carpentry throughout his life and eventually retired from Washita Refrigeration in Ravia, Oklahoma. He had a passion for vehicle restoration and bodywork, carpentry, and catfishing. Summers at the lake camping and fishing brought him immense joy, as did playing dominos and cards with his friends and family. However, his greatest delight was spending time with his grandchildren and recently building the 5G Bait and Tackle and helping with the business.. He is survived by his mother, Marie Bigford, daughters Rikki Gastineau and husband Bobby,brother Melvin Davis of Azle, Tx, sister Linny Dickey of Duncan, Ok and Sherry Hughes of Comanche, Ok and grandchildren Cody Shelton, Fisher Gastineau, Timber Gastineau, Tyler Shelton, River Gastineau, and Rainey Shelton. Rick also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and his cherished fishing buddies. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Lee Shelton, brothers Mike Shelton, Virgil Shelton, son Barry Shelton, and Step dad 'pops' Carl BigFord. A service to celebrate Rick's life will be held on Sunday at 1:00 pm at the Milburn Fire Department. Rick will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Hartwell Funeral Home for their assistance during this difficult time. Services are under the direction and care of Hartwell Funeral Home.
