Robert Meyer Current Services Robert Boyd Meyer of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away October 11, 2019 at the Family Care Center in Kingston, Ok. Robert was born in Great Bend, Kansas on September 18, 1939 to the late Boyd Everett Meyer and Virginia (Hobbs) Meyer. He graduated high school in Hayes, KS and later joined the United States Marine Corps where he served over 20 years. On August 2, 1975 he married Lennie Hawkins, a union that would last 44 years. Robert moved from Cashion, Ok to Kingston, Ok in 1999 where he remained until his death. He spent most of his life working as a mechanic and was employed with McDonnell- Douglas before he retired. Robert was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Lighthouse United Methodist Church. He enjoyed doing anything that required being outdoors and he had a love for fishing.
