Rodney 'Cookie' Todd Blue

Rodney Todd 'Cookie' Blue passed away on September 28, 2024 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years, 10 months & 26 days. Born on November 2, 1952, in Sacramento, California, Cookie spent his formative years attending school in Tishomingo before embarking on a career in yard maintenance. He was a simple guy and loved doing yard work.

Known for his vibrant personality, Cookie was beloved by many for his warm presence and unique ability to light up any room. He was an avid gardener and took great joy in playing with his pets, which were a significant part of his life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Curry and Evelyn Blue, grandpa Harry Blue, sister's Anna Moran Blue, Louise Blue, brother's Everett, Johnny, Norman, Ricky, Randy, Chick and Stoney Blue.

Cookie is survived by a loving family, including his brothers Todd, Lester, Billy, Harry 'Pip,' Darrell Blue of Oklahoma, and his sister Nancy Anderson of Texas, along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services celebrating and honoring Cookies life will be held at Saturday October 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Minnie Hartwell Memorial Chapel at Hartwell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger Hartwell officiating.
