Roy Bailey Current Services Roy Lee Bailey, aged 69, passed away on July 15, 2024, in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Born on August 28, 1954, in Norman, Oklahoma, Roy dedicated many years as a millwright at a power plant, where he applied his skills with precision and care. Roy was a man of faith, having embraced Christianity on September 13, 1965, at Neola Church of Christ, a place he continued to worship throughout his life. He was a loving family man, deeply cherished by his children and siblings. Roy is survived by his sisters, Mary Englebretson and Iris Coyner; brothers, Guy Bailey and Ira Bailey; son, Chris Bailey; daughter, Rebecca Herrington; sons, Michael Boggs, Stephen Boggs, and Aaron Boggs; along with 22 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolla and Ivon Bailey, and brothers, Bill Lenox and Junior Lenox. Roy's passions included painting, riding his Harley Davidson, gardening, and fishing. These hobbies brought him immense joy and peace, offering him beautiful ways to connect with nature and express his creativity. At this time, there will be no service for Roy. His life, marked by devotion to his family, faith, and numerous passions, will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
