Roy "Bill" Farrow

September 3, 1937 — April 23, 2025

Roy "Bill" Farrow, 87, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025, in Blue River Nursing Home in Tishomingo. A lifelong resident of Oklahoma and a devoted man of the Pentecostal faith, Roy lived a life marked by dedication to family, service to his country, and quiet strength.

Born on September 3, 1937, in Wagoner, Oklahoma, Roy was raised with strong values that would guide him throughout his life. He graduated from Cedar Mound High School and went on to build a career working for Sears in electronic repair—a trade that reflected his practical skills and steady work ethic.

Roy proudly served in the United States Army and was honored with full military honors for his service. His commitment to duty and country remained a source of pride throughout his life.

On July 13, 1959, Roy married Nettie “Jitter” Farrow. Their union spanned 51 years until her passing. Together they built a loving home filled with faith and family. Later in life, Roy found companionship again and remarried on November 24, 2013, to Patsy “Whitead” Farrow. Both wives preceded him in death.

Roy was a kind and loving father who found joy in simple pleasures—gardening under the Oklahoma sun, playing dominos with friends and family, and enjoying rounds of bingo. His warmth extended beyond immediate family; he was cherished by many as a brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend.

He is survived by his children: daughters Connie Breedlove and spouse James of McAlester, Ok, Sharon Nance and spouse Duane of Tishomingo, Ok, and Lori Breedlove and spouse Brett of Seminole, Ok; sons Kevin Farrow and spouse Gina of Ft Gibson, Ok, Mitchell Farrow and spouse Gayle of Muskogee, Ok, and Tommy Farrow and spouse Janet of Seminole, Ok; brother Paul Farrow; sister Laretta Ford; along with 23 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who will carry forward his memory.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents; wives Nettie “Jitter” Farrow and Patsy “Whitead” Farrow; brothers Wesley Farrow, Hershell Farrow, Dallas Farrow, and David Farrow; sisters Elizabeth Taylor and Delilah Scarbrough; and great-grandson Canaan Nance.
