Salvador Moya Salazar

Tishomingo, Oklahoma

Salvador Moya Salazar, born March 18, 1970, in Mexico, passed away on May 6, 2026, in Wapanucka, Oklahoma, where he was dedicated to his work until his final moments. A kind-hearted, hardworking family man, Salvador’s life was a rich tapestry woven with love, laughter, and tireless devotion to those he cherished most.

For many years, Salvador committed himself to the refrigeration business under the guidance of John Pope. His dedication to his job was unwavering, and it was one of his proudest accomplishments—standing as a testament to his strong work ethic and reliability. But it was the joy and pride in his children that illuminated his spirit more than anything else. Watching his daughter prepare and attend prom remained a treasured highlight among many fond memories.

Salvador was a man who found delight in the simple pleasures of life. He loved listening to music that stirred his soul, the thrilling rush of the casino where he enjoyed the gamble, and the playful hope nestled in every lottery ticket he purchased. His days were often brightened by the fellowship of friends, with whom he shared many laughs and stories. Known as a joker, he delighted in playful bickering with his wife—a loving jest that showcased his warm humor and closeness with Sherri Stewart, his devoted partner.

Surrounded by family, Salvador is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sherri Stewart, and their children: Baylie Stewart, Breanna Navarroe, both of the home, Salvador Acosta of Oregon, Jose Salazar of Texas, and Sammari Acosta of Sherman, Texas. His grandchildren—Elanah, Xavier, and Dominic Acosta—also carry forward his legacy of love and joy.

As we reflect on Salvador’s life, the vivid memories of his jovial spirit and steadfast kindness remain etched in the hearts of all who knew him. His was a life lived fully—marked by laughter, dedication, and the simple, profound triumphs of family.
