Funeral services for Scott Lowry will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at 1 pm in the Tishomingo Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kenneth McCarthick officiating with interment to follow in the Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn with Military Honors by the Chickasaw Honor Guard. Scott passed away on Sunday November 16, 2014 at his residence in Tishomingo at the age of 53 years. He was born on July 18, 1961 in Oklahoma City, OK to Jim Lowry & Linda Lowry. Scott attended high school in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated in 1979 and immediately joined the United States Marine Corps where here serve 3 years and recieve a Honorable Discharge. Scott was originally from Fort Worth, Texas, he moved here to Tishomingo in 2004 where he lived the last 9 years. Scott was a rancher and enjoyed taking care of the farm and also enjoyed Racecar Driving, he was an Outdoorsmen, Expertmarksmen, and Gun Ethusiast. Scott was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Fellowship Church in Fort Worth, Texas. Scott is survived by both his parents, Jim & Linda Lowry, 1 son, Nathan Lowry, 1 daughter, Shelby Lowry and 1 Grandchild, Jackson McDaniel. Robert is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers for the service will be Nathan Lowry, Keith Pitt, T.G. Orr, Stoney Warden, Mike Warden, Jeff Spence. Honorary Bearers will be Glen Orr, Dennis Warden, & Scotty McCarthick. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
