Scpo William Sweet

SPCO William Duke Sweet of Ardmore was born on August 19, 1962 in Georgetown, OH to Duke Sweet & Eileen (Minton) Sweet. He passed from this life on Tuesday July 18, 2017 at his home in Ardmore at the age of 54 years. Mr. Sweet moved to Oklahoma from Russellville, OH in October of 2016 where he lived the remainder of his life. William attended school at Eastern Brown High School in Russellville, OH & at age 17 he joined the United States Navy in 1979 where he served his country as a Senior Chief with pride for 25 years. Some of the many places that William was stationed were California, Virginia, & Guam. William met & married Donna Baker in Imperial Beach, CA on July 09, 1988. Donna stood by his side through trials & tribulations. William loved to fish, play harmonica, play guitar, playing with his dogs, & he loved to gamble. He had a great sense of humor & could make anyone laugh & would do anything for anyone. Reverend Roger Hartwell will officiate the services. Services are being held under the direction & care of Tishomingo Funeral Home.
