Sheridan Lynn Wilson, a celebrated plasterer, construction expert, and professional rock star, passed away peacefully at his residence in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, on August 6, 2025. Born on March 21, 1952, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, Sheridan embodied a vibrant spirit filled with creativity and rhythm, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His career was marked by an exceptional talent for both construction and music, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his crafts. Sheridan's unwavering love for the drums drove him to pursue a life intertwined with the beat of his music, captivating audiences through every performance with his band. He was not just a musician; he was a beacon of joy and passion whose presence left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.
A proud father, Sheridan is survived by his two sons, Kristopher and Cody Wilson, who carry forth his legacy with love and admiration. He cherished the bond he had with his family, especially with his four adoring grandchildren: Beau, Milo, Wyatt, and Jemma Wilson. To these young ones, he was more than a grandfather; he was a source of inspiration and a listening ear.
Sheridan also leaves behind a loving brother, Lyndall Wilson, who shared countless memories and adventures during their lives together. He enjoyed the warmth and companionship of his in-laws: Toby Burkhart, Martha Shadoan, and Donna Hammer, who added to the richness of his life's tapestry.
Friendships played an important role in Sheridan’s life, and he was blessed with a circle of lifelong friends that included Chris Cox, Phillip Pelton, Roger Sharp, Preston Dalton, Ricky Burnam, Vince Dewberry, and Ronnie Conyer. Also, Sheridan had two special friends Darcy Ratcliff and her mother Patty. These cherished relationships were a testament to his loving nature and the way he connected with those around him.
While he is survived by many, Sheridan has now joined his parents, Betty Gibbs and Glen Wilson, as well as the boys' mother, Laura Fitzgerald, his brother, Larry Wilson, and his close friends TJ and BJ Jacks. Their memories remain intertwined with his, as he continues to inspire those he left behind.
Sheridan Lynn Wilson lived a life rich in faith, music, and love. Those who were fortunate to know him will carry his spirit in their hearts forever, inspired by the rhythm of his life and legacy.
