Thurman (Butch) McDonald Current Services Thurman 'Butch' Harrel McDonald passed away at his home in Tishomingo, Ok on October 12, 2019 at the age of 82 years and 9 months. Butch was born January 12, 1937 in Tishomingo to the late Oscar Latham and Alberta Latham. He resided in Tishomingo all of his life. Butch married Myrna Loy Neely on December 29, 1954, a union that would last 62 years. From that union a daughter was born, Debra (McDonald) Day. Butch worked in the Johnston County Accessor's Office for many years when the courthouse was located inside the Chickasaw Capitol Building. He was known to have quite the 'green thumb'. There wasn't anything he couldn't grow. Butch had a love for gardening, doing yard work and enjoyed growing things. At one time, he had several green houses.
