Conner Quinton Umsted

Conner Quinton Umsted was born on Thursday September the 19th 2002 in Ardmore Oklahoma and passed from this life Monday April the 8th 2024 in Ravia, Oklahoma.  At the age of 21 years six months and 20 days Conner spent most of his life living in Ravia and attended Ravia elementary before graduating high school from Milburn in 2021. Conner spent the first few years out of high school working at Randy’s Automotive. Before becoming employed at Backwoods automotive where he did exactly what he loved to do. Mechanic. He approached things with humor and called himself “THE Charlie Daniels of the torque wrench”. Conner went out of his way to help people. He spent most of his last days working on different projects with his buddies, step dad, and his little cousin, Bradan. Riding back roads was one of his favorite ways to pass the time, especially if you needed to get your mind off of something. Conner was and will always be one of the greatest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was a phenomenal brother, son, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. He left a wonderful  imprint on every soul he touched.  He was amazing and funny and so full of life. He is gone now but we will never forget him or the way he made us feel. He was a kindhearted man that would’ve done anything and everything he could for his people. He was the kindest soul on the meanest earth, and forever our brother.

Conner leaves behind  his parents Mike and Kylie Yoss of Ravia, his Grandmother Sherry Umsted of Ravia, Sisters, Whitney Bivings and Kelly Pugh of Caney, Kaitlyn Yoss Coatney and husband Chris of Fort Worth Tx. Kaylie Bivings of Ravia, Lacy Yoss of Ada, Yancey Yoss of Ada, and his baby niece Shilah. He was so proud to be her uncle.  His father Bradley Bivings, his paternal grandmother Wilma Bivings, Aunt Jennifer Bevill, and his Uncles Jeremy Umsted, Clint Bivings, and Jason Bivings.

Preceded in death by his Grandfather’s, Gary Cheeseman, and Sonny Bivings, and his Uncle Quinton Cheeseman.  

Celebration of life is Friday May 3rd at 2:00 pm. at the Ravia School Auditorium.

May Conner rest in peace, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and dedication.
