Jimmie June McDaniel

Jimmie June (Morrow) McDaniel passed away on July 6, 2022 at Brookside Nursing Center in Madill, Oklahoma.  Jimmy was born February 26, 1938 in Mannsville, Oklahoma to E.J. Morrow and Martha Cadmus (Robinson) Morrow.  She grew up in Mannsville and graduated from Ardmore High School.  

Jimmie later married Raymond Rogers and they moved to California and eventually made their home in Oregon. From this union, two sons were born, Carl and Richard.  Some years later, Jimmie  moved back to Mannsville where she remained until her death.  She went to work at Stromberg Carlson at the Ardmore Air Park where she met and married Leroy (Mac) McDaniel.  Leroy and Jimmie lived in Mannsville and attended the First Baptist Church.  This union lasted until Leroy's death.  

Jimmie enjoyed taking care of her house and her lawn, and studying geneology.  She was always telling everyone of the new family information she had found. 
She is preceded in death by both parents, her husband, sons, Carl Rogers and Richard Rogers; sister, Jodie Melkovitz; and special friend, Bill Dorer.

Jimmie is survived by grandchildren, Sara Rae Hunt of Newberg, Or, Jason Rogers, and Jesse Rogers; cousin, Herman Robinson of Fresno, Tx.  She also leaves to cherish her memory, a niece and 2 nephews and many friends.

The family would like to thank Brookside Nursing Center and Guardian Hospice for the kindness they expressed to Jimmie and the excellent care they provided.  

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 10 am at the Mannsville Cemetery with Rev. Dean Robinson officiating.

Services are under the care and direction of Hartwell Funeral Home.
