Linda Lee (Crawford) Foley, 76 of Tishomingo passed away at her home on June 12, 2023. She was born July 12, 1946 in Oklahoma City to Robert Crawford and Wanda (Hastings) Crawford. Linda was raised in Chula Vista, California. While in California, she met and married her husband, David Foley. David and Linda eventually made their home in North Carolina.
Linda worked most of her life as a pharmacy tech for CVS pharmacy and was later a homemaker. Her husband, David, passed away in July of 2017. After his passing, Linda decided to move to Tishomingo to be with her aging mother. She remained in Oklahoma until her death.
Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed reading mysteries, detective stories, and most all crime stories. She hardly ever read paperbacks. A lot of the books she owned were first edition hard cover books. Working crossword puzzles was another favorite way to pass time for her. Linda loved cats and had three of them. She had always had cats at her home. Her television always had a good western movie playing and she even read some western novels by Louis L'Amour. Drinking a good cup of coffee was also a favorite of Linda's. Nothing like a good book and a nice cup of hot coffee to relax and enjoy the day.
Linda was preceded in death by both of her parents and husband, David Foley.
She leaves to forever cherish her memory, daughters, Leanne Owen of Westminster, Co. and Amy Janzen of London, England; twin sister, Judy Deschamplain of Lake Havasu City, Az; grandsons, Jack Owen of Westminster, Co and Aidan Janzen of Riverside, Ca. along with numerous other family members and friends.
