Linda Sue Waggoner of Tishomingo departed this life on November 7th, 2023 at her home in Tishomingo at the age of 76 years, 5 months, and 6 days.
Linda was born June 1, 1947 in Madill, Oklahoma to Wesley Denton Waggoner and Nita Lucille (Wheeler) Waggoner. She was raised in Mannsville, Oklahoma and attended Mannsville High School. Linda was proud to be from Mannsville and loved her hometown. She moved to Tishomingo in May of 2019.
Linda was of the Assembly of God faith and really enjoyed reading her Bible. She had a great love for people and loved visiting with them. Linda always attended the Mannsville School reunions where she could catch up with those she hadn't seen in many years. She just enjoyed life. Getting together with family was important to her and she knew this was the glue that held the family together. She also enjoyed fishing, listening to all kinds of music, although country was her favorite. Linda enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially her three wheeled trike. She loved coloring, embroidering, and sewing. Her sewing skills were amazing; she made her youngest daughter's wedding dress.
Linda will be missed by all who were blessed to be a part of her life. She is preceded in death by both parents; brother, Denton Waggoner; and grandchildren, Tristan and Christian.
She leaves behind to forever cherish her memory, son, Cecil Heltzel and wife Kim of Mannsville; daughters, Tammy Mills and husband, James of Mannsville, Kay Boatwright and husband, Travis of Emory, Tx, Sabrina Poindexter and Husband Randy, and Stacy Morgan and husband, Bobby; Grandkids, Amber, Josh, Krista, Arland, Jerry, Crystal, Jazmin, Wesley, Jacob, Reanna, Nate, Tanner, Holden, and Hayden; Numerous great-grandkids and a host of friends.
Inurnment of ashes will be Monday at 1:00 pm at Russett Cemetery with Rev. Roger Hartwell officiating.
