Melissa Christine (Missy) Hazlitt

Melissa Christine “Missy” Hazlitt of Mannsville passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Ardmore at the age of 49 years, 5 months, and 22 days. Missy was born in Ardmore on February 19, 1969, to Mike Blackerby and Joyce Ann Whaley. Missy was raised and graduated from Ardmore High School.

Missy enjoyed camping, crochet, singing karaoke. She had a love for her horses. Missy was of the Baptist faith and was affiliated with the Ravia Baptist Church.

Funeral Services to honor her life will be held on Wednesday, August 15 at 11 am in the Minnie Hartwell Memorial Chapel at Tishomingo Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Hartwell officiating. Private interment will take place in the Lone Cedar Cemetery in Mannsville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. Services are entrusted to the care and direction of Tishomingo Funeral Home.
