Russell E. Williamson of Boswell, Oklahoma passed away July 18, 2019 at Choctaw Memorial Hospital in Hugo,Oklahoma at the age of 75 years & 17 days. Russell was born on July 1, 1944 in Bradley, Oklahoma to the late George Henry Williamson and Vera (Mills) Williamson.
Russell attended school at Bradley Public School in Bradley, Ok and later finished at Ellis Public School in Ellis, Ok. He spent most of his life working as a welder. When he was 40 years old, he moved to Johnston County. On July 31, 1987, Russell married Janet Carver, a union that would last 31 wonderful years. He and Janet moved to Boswell, Ok in 2014, where he lived the remainder of his life.
Russell had a love for life and enjoyed spending time with family. He enjoyed being an auctioneer, loved to rodeo, frying fish, and during the winter months he enjoyed fishing for blue cats.. He also enjoyed raising animals, especially pigs.

Services to honor Russell's life will be held at 10 am, Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Minnie Hartwell Memorial Chapel at Tishomingo Funeral Home with Bro. Justin Hartwell officiating. Interment will follow at Condon Grove Cemetery in Milburn, Ok. with Etta Wooten, Carolyn Blankenship, Barbie Mehringer, Loretta Tate, Debra Makrof, and Connie Shirley serving as pallbearers. Wayne Wooten, Travis Williamson, John Blankenship, Kevin Shirley, Terry Williamson, Boone Williamson, Anthony Mehringer, Stanley Williamson, and Mark Antonelli will serve as honorary pallbearers. Services are under the direction and care of Tishomingo Funeral Home.
