Sandra Kay (Mitchell) Fortuna

Sandra Kay “Brown” Fortuna passed away on February 17, 2018 at her home in Tishomingo, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years.  Sandra was born on July 18, 1952 in Fort Towson, Oklahoma to the late Matt and Jean “Skinner” Mitchell.

Sandra lived most of her life in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.  She was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Abundant Life Cathedral in Tishomingo. She was married to Maurice Fortuna on April 2, 1992 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Sandra enjoyed cooking, cleaning, and rearranging furniture.  She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

Sandra leaves behind to forever cherish her memory:

Kimberlyn “Cucumber” Valadez, Catalina “Cat Cat” Valadez.

Sandra also leaves behind her Border Collie, Lucky. 

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Debbie Mitchell, and a grandson, Terry Keith Brown.

Services to honor her life will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 11 am at the Abundant Life Cathedral in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Pastor, Daniel Stephens officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.

Services have been entrusted to the care and direction of the family at Tishomingo Funeral Home.
