Sharon Faye Whitson

Sharon Faye Whitson of Webb City, MO stepped into eternity with Jesus on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at the Webb City Health Care Center in Webb City, MO at the age of 72 years, 8 months, and 17 days. Sharon was born in Joplin, MO on April 09, 1946 to the late Wayne Alfred Ruffier and Marjorie Caroline (Woods) Ruffier. 

Sharon was raised in Joplin, MO where she attended and graduated high school. Sharon enjoyed going to Christmas parades, and playing board games with her friends and going shopping. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 31 at 2 pm at the First Baptist Church of Mannsville with Reverend Kevin Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Tishomingo Cemetery with Justin Hartwell, David Briscoe, Dennis Briscoe, Donnie Lemons, Max Sides, and J.R. Sides serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Andy Sides. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home. Services are under the direction and care of Tishomingo Funeral Home.
